How to Obtain a Printed Directory

Your copy of the telephone directory may be collected from your local Telikom Business Office in your town. Each telephone service subscriber is entitled to  recieve a telephone directory for each direct line or an extension where the service is installed. These will be issued upon presentation of your “Directory Delivery Letter” which is mailed to you by Telikom PNG Limited. These letters will be posted to two weeks prior to directory launch.

For New Connections:  The Telikom technician will leave a copy of the directory after completion of the installation of your new phone service. If no copy is left behind please call the publisher or call into your your local Telikom Business Office to obtain your free copy.

Extra copies may be obtained at no charge. Please contact yopur local Telikom office or the publisher direct.

Description

The PNG telephone directory is prepared in English and is divided into five main sections namely Information Pages, Map Pages, Community Service Information  Pages, White  Pages and  the Yellow Pages. Brief outline of trhe sections are;

  • Telikom Service Information Pages –  Details of Telikom’s services
  • Map Pages – Covers maps for most major centres in PNG and also has colour page  adverrtisements.
  • White Pages – Government, Business and Private listings
  • Yellow Pages – Classification according to business type or product

Community Service Information Pages – Useful information covering different topics like Elections, Education, Safety, Law & Order, Tourism and others.

The above numbers are operator-assisted calls, you will be required to state the service you need then wait to be connected. For calls made to other emergency numbers are direct calls to each help centre. For administrative calls conduct your online search in the usual manner or refer to the listings below.
